Adventist Health is seeking an experienced and compassionate Outpatient Gynecology Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our Women’s Health team in Hanford, California. This role focuses exclusively on gynecologic care in a clinic-based setting, providing high-quality, patient-centered services across the spectrum of women’s health.

About the Role

This position is based in an outpatient clinic setting, providing comprehensive gynecologic care to a diverse patient population. The NP will work collaboratively with gynecologists and care teams to evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of gynecologic conditions, with an emphasis on preventive care, routine exams, and ongoing management of chronic conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive outpatient gynecologic care
  • Perform annual well-woman exams and preventive screenings
  • Evaluate and manage common gynecologic conditions (e.g., abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic pain, infections, menopause-related concerns)
  • Conduct office-based procedures within NP scope (e.g., pelvic exams, Pap smears, IUD insertions/removals, contraceptive management)
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including labs and imaging
  • Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
  • Provide patient education on reproductive health, contraception, and preventive care
  • Coordinate referrals to specialists as needed
  • Collaborate with physicians on complex cases
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record
  • Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care in a team-based clinic environment
Schedule Options

Flexible scheduling designed to support work-life balance:

  • Full-time outpatient schedule (typically 4–5 days per week)
  • No night shifts
  • Limited or no weekend requirements (depending on clinic needs)
Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $170,000 – $198,000/year

  • Sign-on bonus + metric-based bonus opportunities
  • Productivity incentives may apply

Candidate Requirements
  • Master’s degree in Nursing (NP)
  • Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Active California NP license (or eligibility)
  • Experience in gynecology or women’s health required
  • Outpatient or clinic-based experience preferred
  • Experience with contraceptive management and office procedures strongly preferred
  • Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a clinic setting
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish or Punjabi) are a plus, not required
